The Harbor Village complex was built in 1985 by Chandler Stevens of Mansfield Ohio. He established a family friendly area of Put-in-Bay that still houses the best island shops, eatery, lodging and golf cart rental on the island! It encompasses almost one full block in the village and with its diverse shops of interest such as women's clothing, fine jewelry, an art gallery, gourmet foods, the ultimate in gifts, brick fired pizza with the island's best Brandy Alexanders, and the only shop in Ohio where all of the merchandise changes color in the sun! Harbor Village is ideally located across from the visitor's center and the Perry's Monument. Visitors can expect to enjoy a day of shopping, having breakfast lunch dinner or late night snack on the beautiful deck that overlooks the harbor after which you can then rent a golf cart to tour the island at your leisure.
